After many years at one of Canada’s leading insurance company’s Peter started the Everything Financial Group in 1996. His vision was to create an all-in-one financial experience for his clients where he could build trusted, long-term relationships by providing complete financial strategies and solutions for financial peace of mind. In 1997, Peter completed the Certified Financial Planners Course and is a member of Advocis (Canada’s largest membership association of financial advisors) and the Independent Financial Brokers of Canada. In 2004, Peter completed his Registered Health Underwriting (RHU) Certification and in 2005 he received his Branch Manager’s Designation from the Investment Funds Institute of Canada. Peter also adheres to a professional Code of Ethics. To remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends he fulfills annual continuing education requirements so you can be sure that he provides expert and professional financial planning services. When Peter isn’t meeting with clients or traveling to meet clients located across Canada and the USA, he enjoys working out and playing golf. He married his wife Christine in 2008 and has 2 grown children of his own and a step-son. Peter and Christine enjoy traveling together and spending time at their home-away-from-home in Phoenix, Arizona. They support 3 children through World Vision and many charities including the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. Peter and Christine currently live in White Rock with their 3 huskies.
Executive Assistant – Surrey Office
Shannon has been with Everything Financial since 2013. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Simon Fraser University in 1997 and taught Elementary School for 5 years before deciding to stay at home to raise her two children. In 2007 Shannon obtained her Real Estate License from UBC Sauder School of Business and sold real estate for 5 years with ReMax in South Surrey. With the opportunity to come and work at Everything Financial, Shannon completed her LLQP – Life License in 2013. As a licensed Insurance Agent, Shannon takes care of all Individual Insurance policy applications and follow-up. She oversees all aspects of both our Surrey and Victoria locations including communication, scheduling, organization, and marketing. In her free time, Shannon enjoys staying active. In 2014 she participated in the Tough Mudder event held in Whistler, she loves participating in various 10K races around the Lower Mainland and has recently taken up golf.
Associate Advisor – Surrey Office
Ona is the newest addition to the Everything Financial Team. She has her Life License and recently completed the Investment Funds In Canada (IFC) course through the Canadian Securities Institute. While mentoring under Peter as part of the Everything Financial Mentorship Program, Ona will be working with our Group Benefits Plan employees providing education and information on financial planning. Prior to embarking on a fresh new career in the financial services industry, Ona was an entrepreneur in the world of food, fitness, and health. In 2005 she completed her Holistic Nutrition Diploma at Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. In 2007 she completed her Comprehensive Pilates Instructor training at Absolute Center in San Francisco. In 2013 as a stay at home Mom, she launched her first food product to be sold in grocery stores across Canada. Now with her son in school, she is ready to jump back in to a full time career, and is looking forward to guiding others toward their own financial goals and success. Ona enjoys everything about her son, running, Yoga, Pilates, and living a healthy active lifestyle. When she is not exercising or playing sports with her son, she can be found in the kitchen creating new recipes and enjoying a nice Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley.

Brian has been in the Financial Services Industry since 2000 and with Everything Financial since 2003. In addition to his many years of financial planning experience, Brian has his CFP (Certified Financial Planner Certificate) and EFP (Elder Planning Counselor Certificate). Brian is head of our Group Benefits Department and specializes in Group Benefit Plans, Insurance, and Financial Planning. Brian was born and raised in Vancouver and has lived in Burnaby since 1999 with his wife Chris and their 3 boys. In his spare time he coaches his son’s baseball and soccer teams, and is on the executive board for both sports.
Administrative Assistant – Surrey Office
Jenny has been with Everything Financial since 2011 and has a Financial Management Diploma from Langara College. Jenny is our administrative contact at our Surrey location. Jenny lives in Abbotsford with her parents and younger sister.
Jackie Piller, R.F.P.
R.F.P® Associate Advisor – Victoria Office
Jackie joined Everything Financial as a Financial Advisor in 2014 and works out of our Victoria office. Jackie has been in the financial services industry since 2002 and worked for Van City Credit Union as an insurance specialist for 6 years prior to joining the Everything Financial Team. Jackie is a Registered Financial Planner (RFP), has her LLQP License and has completed CFP Level 1 of the Canadian Investment Funds Course. Jackie has lived in Victoria since 1990 with her husband Dean and their two daughters. Prior to becoming involved in the financial industry, Jackie completed the Animal Health Technology Program at Olds College in 1985. She also enjoys good wine, hiking, cycling, golfing, a great beach read, and travelling.
Tami Romanchuk, C.F.P.®, C.L.U.®
Associate Advisor – Victoria Office
Tami has been developing her extensive career in the financial services industry since 2003. She attended MacEwan University where she completed the Business Management Program. She completed her Certified Financial Planner designation in 2013 and her Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 2017. She also won an Initiative Award for her unique study group for advisors at Manulife. She has taken on a variety of roles including associate, advisor and insurance sales director at the corporate level. These experiences have helped Tami discover her passion: helping clients minimize the overwhelming feelings associated with financial planning and risk management. She became Owner of Shoreline Financial & Insurance Services Ltd. in 2017, a company originally established in 1979. Tami acts as an educator for clients who are looking for assistance with making informed decisions based on their needs and goals. She does her best work with business owners and established professionals focused on maximizing tax efficiencies and creating their estate plan. Tami gives her clients confidence. She has a magnetic energy and they appreciate her honest advice and trustworthiness. She is a great communicator and resourceful leader. Tami has had many friends and family members face unexpected illness and injury; she has seen firsthand the difference between being prepared, and not being prepared. Tami is driven by her passion for people, personal growth, and independence.
Administrative Assistant – Victoria Office
Karen is the administrative assistant at our Victoria. She is a familiar face to many of our Victoria clients who we inherited from Sandra Stott of Assante Wealth Management in 2013. Karen was born in England and came to Canada at the age of 5. She spent most of her childhood in Saguenay Lac St. Jean, Quebec, however, Karen attended high school in Victoria and university at UVIC where she obtained her BA. Karen has worked in the financial services industry since 2008 and moved back to Victoria in 2009. She has raised a flock of registered Southdown sheep, pigs, turkeys and chickens on a small hobby farm in Cobble Hill and is the mother of two adult sons.
